Priesthood

Those men chosen by God are called to fashion their life on the mystery they celebrate, the mystery of the love of the cross. They stand in persona Christi, that is in the person of Christ, to offer sacrifice and sanctify the People of God. By the celebration of the sacraments God empowers the people through the priest to live the life of holiness for which they were made. It is the priest who helps the soul go home to God. They live a life of celibate love for the sake of the Kingdom (Mt. 19:12), and like Christ, take the Church as their Bride (Eph. 5:25-26, 32).
